Senior JDE Functional Consultant

Lead the functional validation of inventory value loads, ensuring accuracy across customer-owned and internally owned inventory.

Confirm appropriate costing methods, item configuration, and field usage, advising on what data is required, where it must live, and how it impacts downstream processes.

Assess whether configurations will break existing processes, disrupt MRP, or cause costing anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.

Work closely with IT and SMEs to validate final pieces of high-impact inventory, ensuring alignment before cutover.

Support the creation and refinement of data validation and integrity plans, including test plans for pre- and post-refresh cycles.

Guide SMEs through Quotes, Sales Orders (PP&S), and related data requirements when relevant.

Collaborate with the technical team to ensure functional correctness of data loads, even when the technical loading mechanisms are already in place.

Provide clarity, structure, and decision support to teams learning the JDE portfolio, helping them merge existing processes into a templated JDE environment.

Participate in technical and alignment discussions with a small interview panel and IT leadership as needed.

Work PST hours (remote OK) while maintaining tight communication and rapid turnaround on functional issues.

Senior-level JDE functional expertise in Inventory Management (INV) with strong grounding in Supply Chain and Finance modules.

Deep experience validating and configuring high-impact inventory data loads, including costing methods, item setup, and functional impacts across MRP.

Hands-on JDE Service & Warranty Management module experience, specifically how inventory is committed, consumed, and tracked (distinct from Manufacturing).

Strong data and process validation capabilities, able to determine correct data fields, configuration impacts, process breakpoints, and ensure data integrity during and after refresh cycles.

Experience supporting major system upgrades (Epicor-to-JDE or similar complex transitions) in industrial, manufacturing, or complex multi-site environments.

Background working with cross-functional IT and SME teams to refine test plans, execute UAT, and manage data signoffs.

Familiarity with custom reporting requirements, item configuration edge cases, and data integrity planning.

Ability to provide ad-hoc functional leadership to teams that are new to JDE, supporting knowledge transfer without redesigning processes.
