ABOUT THE CLIENTWe're working with an established organisation operating within a highly regulated technology-led sector. They're engaging a DBA Contractor to support the build-out, standardisation, and compliance of database monitoring and audit capabilities across multiple environments.

THE DBA CONTRACTOR ROLE:This contract focuses on creating consistency, visibility, and compliance across database infrastructure. You'll be responsible for defining and implementing monitoring, alerting, and audit frameworks across multiple deployments, with a strong emphasis on Elastic and SQL Server native tooling.

Key deliverables include:

• Creating consistent, expandable Fleet Integration policies for database architecture

• Configuring integrations to collect and surface database infrastructure metrics

• Building a standardised set of rules, alerts, ILM policies, visualisations, and dashboards across four deployments

• Configuring SQL Server native auditing to meet compliance requirements

DBA CONTRACTOR ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong experience with SQL Server

• MySQL database experience

• Elastic Stack (several years' experience, No
  
  SQL)

• Power Shell scripting

• Git Lab

• Team City
