Open Text Captiva Developer
We are currently looking for an Open Text Captiva Developer for a minimum 6 month contract role in downtown Toronto.
Experience
4-5 years of experience in Captiva development – using Captiva Designer, Advanced Recognition, .Net Code Module, Captiva Desktop (Implementing Captiva 16.6 version)Working experience in building workflows to capture and classify/index documents using Barcodes, correct OCR issues, and extract data from documentsExperience in Open Text Captiva Client Side
- Scripting development in .NETSoftware Development Skills in client side development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 5, CSS 3Knowledge in integration methodologies (SOAP/REST)Working experience with integration to backend databases (SQL Server)Working experience in the administration of CaptivaCaptiva certifications are an assetBasic knowledge in Open Text Content Server workflows, web reports, form design & capture centre is an assetExperience with in Financial Services industry is an assetKnowledge in other OCR technologies like Nuance, ABBYY or Tessaract is an assetSkills
Deep knowledge in Software Product Development processes and design, including AgileAbility to run code reviews and enforce coding best practicesStrong requirements gathering and analysis skillsStrong interpersonal relationship building and listening skillsStrong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint) to technical and non-technical audiences.This is a minimum 6 month contract with likely extension located in downtown Toronto (work from home until deemed safe).
