Senior Product Manager API​/MCP

Position: Senior Product Manager - (API / MCP)
We are looking for a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager to join our growing

Product Management team. This is a challenging, impactful, and highly collaborativeposition that sits at the interface of Product, Science, Engineering, and ML,reporting toour Lead Product Manager. You will translate the platform vision and define the directionacross our teams to build and maintain Bench Sci's programmatic access offering.

Bench Sci is a scientific data company, and you will help pave the path towards realizingour mission of bringing better medicines to patients 50% faster in the next few years .

You Will:

Develop strategy and roadmap for your team, including, but not limited to, influencing our programmatic access offerings including API and/or MCP end points for scientific data access.

Translate business objectives into user, API/MCP, technical, and data requirements and related resources

Partner with team members across the Platform Stream including senior leaders on the Science, Product, Engineering, as well as other representatives from Go-To-Market to drive successful execution and adoption of complex solutions

Measure and report essential metrics to internal stakeholders to demonstrate the value created by the team

You Have:

3+ years, preferably 7+ years, as a Product Manager, with increasing responsibility on scientific data products. The preferred candidate will have done this while employed by a biopharma company, or in close collaboration with a biopharma partner. Familiarity with graph and structured data, preferably in scientific or health-care data

A strong interest in science - particularly in biology

Proven experience in productizing API offerings, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in MCP offerings, agentic architectures, and driving external programs (, partnerships, beta testing, developer community, partner integrations).

A proven track record in bringing clarity to a complex domain and driving agreements between technical teams and the business - you are an excellent facilitator

Successfully taken new features from conception through launch to adoption, engagement, and retention

Experience influencing cross-functional teams to achieve outcomes over outputs

Experience in enterprise client-facing roles is ideal

A data-informed decision-making process with the ability to identify new opportunities and provide sound reasoning for strategy decisions from that data
