Our client, a well-established tech company located in the vibrant center of Zug, is seeking a C++ Engineers to join their dynamic team. Focusing on next-generation trading strategies, my client is committed to driving innovation in global markets through advanced technology. They are looking for a Software Engineer with expertise in:

• C++, Python, C, or Rust (other non-GC languages are also valued)
• Designing high-performance software, with a strong emphasis on low-latency over high throughput
• Linux server administration, virtualization, network technologies
• AWS (Bonus)
• Knowledge of derivatives, especially options, is a plus

About the Role:

In this role, you will be crucial in crafting high-performance, low-latency trading strategies and enhancing the codebase to ensure optimal functionality. Collaborating with experts in trading and software development, you’ll bring impactful solutions to life. This position is based in Zug, Switzerland, and we’re looking for candidates who either reside nearby or are open to relocating, as full-time remote work is not available, though some home office flexibility is offered.

If you’re a seasoned developer with a passion for Rust and experience in high-performance software design, this role is an ideal fit!

Requirements:

• Proficiency in C++, with extensive experience in another native programming language (such as C or Rust).
• Demonstrated expertise in designing software with low-latency performance
• In-depth knowledge of Linux server administration, virtualization, and network technologies
• Familiarity with AWS is advantageous.
• Knowledge of derivatives, particularly options, is an asset
• Swiss or EU passport
