NOTE:
This role supports up to 100% remote working, and so requires candidates that can demonstrate historical capability of being able to work in such roles, and that have the necessary equipment to fulfill the role.
Reporting to the Senior Data Scientist, the Data Scientist is a key execution partner in building and maintaining Club Tech Global’s data ecosystem. While the Senior Lead focuses on strategy and architecture, you are the technical specialist responsible for the "boots-on-the-ground" implementation of data pipelines, tracking validation, and actionable reporting.
You will play a vital role in ensuring that our multi-tenant hospitality platform has the data integrity required to drive revenue and guest experience. This is a high-impact role for a practitioner who loves SQL, enjoys the puzzle of event-based tracking (GA4/Post Hog), and wants to see their analytical models directly influence a global booking engine.
Key ResponsibilitiesCore Execution (Daily / Weekly):
Data Modeling & SQL: Develop and maintain clean, optimized SQL models (CTEs, transformations) to power our internal analytics and tenant-facing reports.
Tracking Validation: Act as the guardian of data quality. You will be responsible for testing and validating event triggers across GTM, GA4, and Post Hog to ensure product launches are tracked accurately.
Dashboard Development: Build, iterate, and maintain high-performance dashboards in Looker, Superset, or Tableau that help Product and Marketing teams monitor funnel health and booking conversion.
Data Cleaning & Wrangling: Use Python to clean, restructure, and prepare complex datasets from our multi-tenant environment for analysis and machine learning.
A/B Test Monitoring: Assist in the setup of experimentation frameworks and perform the statistical analysis required to determine "winners" in product and pricing tests.
Collaborative & Technical Support (Monthly / Quarterly):
Feature Engineering: Work with the Senior Data Scientist to identify and build features for predictive models (e.g., churn risk, demand forecasting).
Documentation: Maintain the "Source of Truth" documentation for our data dictionary, tracking plans, and metric definitions.
Tenant Insights: Support the Tenant Success team by generating bespoke deep-dive reports for key hospitality partners to help them optimize their revenue.
Pipeline Maintenance: Monitor the health of automated data workflows and troubleshoot failures in ingestion or transformation.
Experience & Skills
2–4 years of experience in a data-focused role (Data Analyst, Data Scientist, or Analytics Engineer).
SQL Fluency: You are highly proficient in SQL and can write complex, performant queries without supervision.
Python for Data: Strong experience with the Python data stack (pandas, Num Py, matplotlib/seaborn).
Tracking Expertise: Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and event-based analytics tools (GA4, Post Hog, or Amplitude).
Statistical Literacy: A solid understanding of probability, distributions, and hypothesis testing (p-values, confidence intervals).
Visualization: Proven ability to turn raw data into a visual story that non-technical stakeholders can understand.
Mandatories
detail-first mindset: You are the person who notices when a tracking pixel is missing or a metric looks "off."
Strong communication skills: Ability to explain the why behind the numbers to the Product and Marketing teams.
dbt and version control (
Git
).Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem (Big Query).
Hospitality, Travel, or E-commerce analytics.
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS data structures.
