Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
📄 Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (Remote based from our London / Bristol Support Office with occasional travel) 💼 Salary: £37,522.87 - £46,434.55 (Depending on location and experience)

The Role

As our Analytics Engineer, you’ll design, build, and maintain the data models and Power BI dashboards that drive decision-making across the organisation. Your work will help teams understand performance, identify trends, and improve outcomes for our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain data models in Azure Analysis Services
  • Build clear, interactive Power BI dashboards used by stakeholders across MSI UK
  • Gather reporting requirements and translate them into intuitive BI solutions
  • Continuously improve existing reports and dashboards
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
  • Support users and provide training on Power BI
  • Collaborate closely with our data team to ensure access to high-quality, timely data
  • Occasionally integrate datasets into Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Maintain documentation and stay current with the latest BI tools and best practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong Power BI experience, including advanced DAX
  • Experience with Azure Analysis Services or similar modelling tools
  • Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy
  • Ability to turn complex requirements into clean, user-friendly visuals
  • Confident communicator who works well with stakeholders at all levels
