What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems for stablecoin pay-ins, payouts, deposits, and withdrawals
• Serve as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) for key projects, ensuring accountability from design to production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions
• Integrate stablecoin functionality into core products by working closely with various teams across the employer
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong, inclusive engineering culture

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering
• Proven experience building and operating large-scale backend systems, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies (e.g., Go, Java, or similar) and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP)
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and system design
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects end-to-end as a DRI

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Prior experience working with stable coins, DeFi protocols, or on-chain payments
• Familiarity with smart contract platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana) and related developer tools
• Contributions to open-source crypto or blockchain projects
• Experience building multi-chain or cross-chain applications
• Interest in or experience with tokenomics or digital asset infrastructure
