Senior Dev Ops Engineer

A growing software organisation is scaling its platform engineering function and is hiring two Senior Dev Ops Engineers to build, automate, and optimise cloud-native infrastructure supporting products used by tens of thousands of customers.

You’ll work across Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern CI/CD tooling to drive reliability, automation, and deployment velocity.

Day-to-day:

• Build and maintain Azure-based AKS infrastructure.
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines using Git Ops (ArgoCD) and automated testing.
• Implement observability across logging, monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
• Improve performance, reliability, and deployment workflows for engineering teams.
• Embed security best practices and manage secrets, access, and vulnerability scanning.
• Support incident response, documentation, and on‑call rotation.
• Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy.

Experience:

• Strong experience in a Senior Dev Ops/Platform Engineering role.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, and Azure.
• CI/CD experience (Git Ops/ArgoCD or similar).
• Proficiency in Bash/Python and automation practices.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Strong troubleshooting and distributed systems understanding.

Nice to Have: Git Hub Actions, cloud networking, security tooling, Fin Ops, SQL/Postgres/Redis, AI/ML pipelines, SaaS background, ELK stack, DR/BCP.
