As a Technical Writer, you will craft medium to complex documentation that brings clarity to technical concepts, from instruction manuals and end‑user guides to white papers and specialized product descriptions. You are based in South Africa, working within the NTT Global Cloud Practice to support large global Cloud Advisory, Modernization and Managed Services client bids and engagements in North America, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa.

• Craft compelling narratives that engage the audience and clearly communicate complex technical ideas.
• Develop clear, concise value propositions that emphasize product benefits and demonstrate ROI for customers.
• Produce high‑impact documentation that supports competitive bidding and sales initiatives by showcasing strengths and addressing key decision criteria.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather insights, validate content, and ensure message alignment.
• Conduct thorough research and competitive analysis to inform strategic messaging and market positioning.
• Highlight unique product features and benchmark solutions against competitors to underscore differentiation and superiority.
• Amplify organizational and product strengths through persuasive, audience‑tailored writing.
• Proactively address potential product or messaging gaps by framing challenges constructively and offering viable alternatives.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications or a related field.

• Extensive experience in a similar role within a global IT organization.
• Skilled in crafting compelling narratives that captivate audiences and simplify complex technical concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in writing tools such as Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
• Skilled in editing, proofreading, and revision tools for clarity and accuracy.
• Strong risk communication capabilities for sensitive or complex topics.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with marketing frameworks: AIDA, FAB.
• Ability to craft storyboards and integrate multimedia content effectively.
• Skilled in developing value‑driven messaging and sales enablement content.
• Competent in basic data visualization tools.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with Tableau for analytical tasks.
• Strong data interpretation skills to support strategic decision‑making.
• Use of industry trend monitoring tools and research databases to inform content.
• Experienced with collaboration platforms: MS Teams, Slack.
• Proficient in project management software for task tracking and delivery.
• Skilled in proposal management tools to support competitive bids.
• Effective cross‑functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
