ERP Consultant; REMOTE Alberta

Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Business Consultant to play a pivotal role in the completion of a significant data migration project. The project aims to transfer data from the archived IMAGIS system to a newly procured Enterprise Archiving System. Your expertise in legacy knowledge regarding data sets, queries, and established reporting will be instrumental in ensuring the success of this critical endeavor.

The following activities are going to be performed by the awarded Contingent Resource:

DUTIES:
o Lead, facilitate, and document strategic plans and priorities, aligning to Department vision.
o Identify projects to achieve this vision.
o Facilitate stakeholder workshops and focus groups.
o Prepare and present strategies and information to steering committees and project groups.
o Prepare and deliver presentations about initiatives or issues to executives and staff, steering committees, project groups and Department personnel, and other stakeholders.
o Assist with risk management and issues management.
o Develop and execute change management plans and communication plans.
o Develop business cases through a consultative approach with business sponsors and key stakeholders, identifying benefits and performance measure indicators.
o Document initiative/project backgrounds, descriptions, environmental analyses, financial modeling, alternatives, impacts, risks, cost-benefit analyses, recommendations, implementation strategies, and approval processes.
o Provide quality assurance services throughout the business case development to ensure completeness and consistency of documentation, which could include content review.
o Identify risks associated with business cases and their implementation; and
o Integrate and align multiple business cases; understand and document dependencies.
