The position requires a creative and strategic thinker who can craft compelling content, manage multiple platforms, and drive engagement to increase visibility and traffic.

This is a remote, project-based role with the potential for ongoing collaboration.

• Develop and implement a tailored social media strategy to establish and grow the group’s online presence.
• Create, edit, and schedule engaging content across key platforms (e.g., Linked In, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter).
• Design visually appealing graphics and multimedia assets that reflect the group’s values and mission.
• Optimize posts and profiles for SEO to maximize reach and discoverability.
• Monitor analytics, track performance, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Foster authentic engagement with followers and respond to community interactions in a timely manner.

• Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands, preferably with a focus on cultural or community-based initiatives.
• Strong content creation, copywriting, and editing skills with an eye for design and detail.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for social media.
• Ability to communicate authentically about African culture and global business standards.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Availability for a single project with potential for future assignments.
