Artificial Intelligence Engineer, Ignite Tech (Remote) – $60,000/year USD

Base pay range: $30.00/hr – $30.00/hr

This position transcends typical AI use cases aimed at incremental gains; it focuses on leading ambitious, large‑scale initiatives that harness AI to drive substantial improvements in both productivity and creative problem‑solving.

• Built code components integrating state‑of‑the‑art LLMs into production systems (e.g., customer service bots, API connections)
• Augmented existing platforms with predictive analytics or recommendation engines through automated AI methodologies
• Leveraged AI to quickly resolve recurring defects and feature enhancements (e.g., real‑time translation services or dynamic content customization)

• Developing Novel AI Products and Capabilities:
  Fine‑tune LLMs to deliver completely new AI‑driven products and discrete modules that integrate smoothly into current solutions or serve as the core of entirely new platforms.
• Streamlining Internal Operations:
  Deploy sophisticated AI methods to automate internal tasks and operational workflows.

• Drive accelerated product launches and elevated customer satisfaction through ongoing AI‑powered enhancements.

• AI‑First Mindset (if you default to writing code manually before applying AI tools for review or refinement, rather than starting with AI, do not apply).
• A minimum of 1 year working as a full‑stack developer (proficiency in both front‑end and back‑end programming is mandatory).
• Extensive hands‑on use of GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev).
• Demonstrated success deploying Generative AI solutions that produced measurable, significant business impact.
• Proven experience applying various LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) to address operational challenges.
• A clear grasp of when and why to select particular LLM models for distinct use cases.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
