Description
The Business Analyst, ERP Reporting & Analytics acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams to support the delivery of reporting solutions across the enterprise.
Working primarily within the SAP S/4
HANA ecosystem, including Embedded Analytics and SAP Business Data Cloud, the Business Analyst is responsible for gathering and documenting business reporting requirements, analyzing data needs, and developing clear, detailed functional specifications. The role ensures that delivered reports and dashboards align with business objectives, and adhere to data governance and security standards.
The preference is for the candidate to be located in British Columbia, but they will also accept remote workers who work inside of Canada and can work Pacific Standard time.
Skills SAP, SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, Cloud Type Contract Experience Required/Mandatory Skills
Computer science or Business degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Strong ability to understand business processes and articulate reporting requirements clearly.
Proficiency in navigating and interpreting data models, especially within SAP systems.
Familiarity with SAP S/4
HANA Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, SAP Fiori, and SAP Business Data Cloud.
Skilled in writing detailed and structured functional specifications and supporting documents.
Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.
Ability to troubleshoot issues in reporting logic, data integrity, and performance.
Team-oriented mindset to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and developers.
Meticulous in ensuring accuracy and completeness in report requirements and outputs.
