This 18‑month contract role, with the possibility of telework or hybrid, brings a bilingual (French/English) Junior Agile Team Lead into our Digital Strategy & Products team, contributing to Canada’s largest digital audience across platforms such as , CBC News app, CBC Gem and CBC Listen.

• Coach, mentor, and support team members in agile practices.
• Facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement to enhance team productivity, efficiency, and delivery.
• Serve as a key contributor and informal leader within a cross‑functional Product team.

• Coaching and Mentoring:
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to individuals, teams, and leaders on agile principles, values, and practices while displaying flexibility and openness to navigate real‑world challenges.
  • Develop empowered teams by building an understanding and embracing of the agile mindset and methodologies while establishing solid principles.
• Facilitation and Communication
  
  Skills:
  • Lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Ensure effective and empathetic communication, collaboration, and decision‑making within the team.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for team process improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with teams to implement agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Encourage experimentation and adaptation to optimize team performance.
