This 18‑month contract role, with the possibility of telework or hybrid, brings a bilingual (French/English) Junior Agile Team Lead into our Digital Strategy & Products team, contributing to Canada’s largest digital audience across platforms such as , CBC News app, CBC Gem and CBC Listen.

- Coach, mentor, and support team members in agile practices.
- Facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement to enhance team productivity, efficiency, and delivery.
- Serve as a key contributor and informal leader within a cross‑functional Product team.
- Champion a culture of open communication, feedback, and accountability.
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to individuals, teams, and leaders on agile principles, values, and practices while displaying flexibility and openness to navigate real‑world challenges.
- Develop empowered teams by building an understanding and embracing of the agile mindset and methodologies while establishing solid principles.
- Facilitation and Communication
Skills:- Lead agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Ensure effective and empathetic communication, collaboration, and decision‑making within the team.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for team process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with teams to implement agile frameworks and methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Encourage experimentation and adaptation to optimize team performance.
- Team Empowerment:
- Cultivate a self‑organizing and high‑performing team culture by promoting autonomy, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Assist teams in identifying and overcoming obstacles to ensure smooth progress and delivery of value.
- Agile Metrics and Reporting:
- Identify, define, track, and analyze key agile metrics to measure team delivery and performance.

- Act as a change agent to promote the agile mindset and health culture within a team or across departments.
