Solutions Architect - Identity & Access Management

This is a remote position.

About our client:

Our client is a global investment advisory firm focusing on long-term value creation through investment strategies. They work with a diverse group of institutional partners and pride themselves on their collaborative, sustainable, inclusive culture and performance. This is initially a 50% capacity contract for 6 months and totally remote. Ideal for someone who has their own business or wants to supplement their current income.

What you will be doing:

• Analyse current Identity & Access Management (IDAM) architecture, design the future state, and produce all necessary architectural deliverables and documentation (Business, Application, Data, Technology).
• Ensure designs adhere to enterprise architecture principles, target states, and operate within the Enterprise Architecture Governance Framework.
• Partner with business, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and ensure cohesive solution delivery.
• Design modern event-driven / API integrations and define data governance / migration strategies (security, quality, compliance).
• Lead architectural risk assessments, socialise decisions, and guide delivery teams through all phases (design, build, test, deploy) while ensuring security alignment.

What our client is looking for:

• 7+ years in IT Solution Architecture, including 1+ years in IDAM or security architecture.
• Strong background in enterprise integration, middleware, cloud architecture (Azure), system design, Archi Mate, TOGAF, and security / privacy in regulated industries.
• Ability to align technology with business strategy, build consensus, proactively solve problems, and ensure solutions are high-quality, scalable, and delivered on time / budget.
• Excellent skills in documentation and translating complex technical details into clear business language.
• Strategic, collaborative, analytical, adaptable, results-oriented, accountable, and confidently assertive in maintaining architectural principles.
