Senior Digital Transformation Consultant; Remote

This role will have a significant impact on the advancement of green initiatives in the ICT sector. The consultant will support various projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and enhancing digital infrastructure sustainability. Your expertise will help shape strategies that align with climate priorities while enabling local stakeholders to effectively monitor and report their environmental impacts.

• Organize and facilitate workshops to enhance stakeholders' capacity in environmental indicator reporting.
• Develop digital net-zero transition plans aligned with national climate priorities.
• Maintain a data visualization dashboard for the digital sector's climate footprint.
• Conduct national needs assessments to identify capacity-building requirements.
• Perform research on greenhouse gas emissions and energy use within the ICT sector.
• Prepare technical content for online learning through the ITU Academy.
• Support and organize onboarding and steering meetings with project teams.
• Participate in regular progress meetings with stakeholders.

• Advanced knowledge in climate data collection and reporting frameworks.
• Strong understanding of decarbonization strategies and their implementation.
• Experience in designing and facilitating capacity-building workshops.
• Technical expertise in climate change and ICT sector sustainability.
• University degree in environmental science or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience, including collaboration with international entities.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
