Senior Security and Compliance Engineer; Remote

This role is critical in supporting various leading organizations in developing and maintaining their technical security frameworks.

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls and compliance measures to protect cloud-based data.
• Perform security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with federal standards such as NIST 800-53 and FedRAMP.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to integrate security features into the development lifecycle.
• Monitor systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, and respond to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to security controls and incident response procedures.
• Conduct training and awareness programs for staff on security best practices.
• Stay updated on emerging security technologies and industry trends.
• Support the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security engineering or compliance roles within federal environments.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and risk management principles.
• Experience with security tools and cloud security solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH preferred.
• U.S. Citizenship required and willingness to obtain security clearance.
