Niyam is seeking an experienced Maximo Business Analyst to join our team in support of our work with a federal client. This position will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise asset management solutions in a complex environment. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and operations teams to configure, customize, and enhance system functionality. You will support system integrations, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance improvements while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

The expert will also play a key role in gathering requirements, guiding solution architecture, supporting upgrades and deployments, and identifying opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement to maximize the value of the Maximo platform.

• Lead requirements gathering activities through stakeholder interviews, design workshops, discovery sessions, and business process reviews to define use cases and document business needs.
• Translate business and operational requirements into detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams, process maps, and related project documentation.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between business units, technical resources, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze the Maximo database structure and evaluate the impact of proposed changes to objects, tables, indexes, relationships, and configurations.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, system administrators, and integration teams to design, configure, implement, and support Maximo solutions.
• Assess current-state business processes and recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and create proof-of-concept solutions with industry’s best practices.
• Lead discussions related to system integrations, reporting requirements, data conversion strategies, and data migration planning and execution activities.
