About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization's comprehensive information security strategy and roadmap.
• Establish and maintain robust security policies, standards, and procedures across all business units.
• Lead and mentor the information security team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Oversee risk management, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage the information security budget and vendor relationships.
• Advise the executive leadership team and Board of Directors on information security risks and strategies.
• Drive security awareness and training programs throughout the organization.
• Champion the adoption of innovative security technologies and methodologies.
• Represent the organization on cybersecurity matters with external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business Administration, or a related field;
  PhD is a plus.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in information security leadership roles, with a proven track record of developing and executing enterprise-wide security strategies.
• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, risk management, governance, compliance, and incident response.
• Demonstrated experience managing global security operations and distributed teams.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging threat landscapes, technologies, and mitigation strategies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience reporting to and advising executive leadership and boards of directors.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are essential.
• Proven ability to lead and manage effectively in a fully remote work environment.
