About the role
We are looking for a Casualty Claims Adjuster II, Homeowner Liability to join our growing team in the West!
In this role you will investigate and settle moderate to complex casualty liability claims while providing quality service and ensuring prompt and equitable settlement of claims in line with corporate policies and standards.
What you'll do here:
Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess settlements which are fair and equitable.
Communicate in a timely and respectful manner with the customer, claimants, lawyers and insurers to settle claims and report findings.
Conduct investigations and obtain/review documents needed such as cause and origin reports, property damage estimates, applicable depreciation, independent medical examinations, medical records, employment history required to clarify and/or justify a claim.
Collect reports and statements to determine liability and coverage.
Ensure all cases are clearly documented and meet legislative requirements.
Provide superior customer service to external and internal customers, and answer queries relating to claims.
What you bring to the table:
University degree or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role
A minimum of 3 years of adjusting experience.
Can handle or oversee moderate to complex claims.
Can communicate and negotiate effectively.
Excellent customer service skills.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
Excellent time management skills.

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:
$60,200.00 - $90,200.00What we offer
