Senior Account Handler

Role Overview

An established and well-regarded regional insurance brokerage is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to support its growing portfolio of corporate and mid-market clients across Scotland.

This is a technically focused broking role, suited to a strong all-rounder who enjoys being close to the detail. You’ll be responsible for end-to-end placement design
, renewal management, and day-to-day servicing of complex commercial risks.

The role also includes handling referred cases
, providing technical input to colleagues, and attending client meetings and insurer visits as required.

The client base spans a broad range of commercial risks, so cross-class commercial broking experience is essential
. You’ll be comfortable negotiating with insurers, structuring programmes, and delivering a high standard of technical and client service throughout the policy lifecycle.

• Proven experience in commercial insurance broking
• Strong technical knowledge across multiple commercial classes
• Solid experience of Acturis (essential)
• Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with clients and insurers
• Organised, detail-driven, and commercially minded
