Web-Translations specialises in website localisation and translation of marketing collateral.
Working with a network of freelance translators, Web-Translations is committed to providing international online solutions to clients around the world looking to sell in foreign markets.
With more than 20 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves on building long‑term relationships with clients and industry partners.
Web-Translations is looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to work within our small, dynamic translation company on a remote‑working basis.
The Project Coordinator will deliver high‑quality, fast‑turnaround translations to our growing client base. This involves day‑to‑day organisation of projects and ongoing liaison with clients, translators and developers.
As the successful candidate, you will need to be a proactive member of the team, relish a challenging and fast‑paced environment and actively contribute to the success of the business.
The role offers good career progression opportunities, with the chance to become account manager for our clients, many of which are household names. There will also be annual pay reviews, and on‑the‑job training is provided.
- End‑to‑end management of multiple multi‑lingual projects
- Evaluation of resources and cost planning within the set margin limits
- Preparation of quotations and proposals that meet both client expectations and company margin targets
- Find suitable translators, of a good standard of skill, capable of delivering to tight deadlines
- Ensure that projects are prepared adequately so that translators are able to do a stellar job
- Use Trados translation software for translation management and QA
- Maintain detailed and up‑to‑date project records
- Raise purchase orders for suppliers, and invoices for clients
- Coordinate translation projects among translators, developers and designers
- Effective client relationship building
- Pro‑active client account management
- Write timely and engaging social media content for Twitter, Linked In and Facebook and our blog
- Experience in working with the Trados CAT tool
- Fluent in English and one other language
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative
- Creative problem solver

- Excellent telephone skills
- Excellent PC literacy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Loyal and hard working
- Motivated team player
- Tenacious with a good eye for detail
- Experience preferred of using Word Press or another CMS
- Basic HTML skills would be an added bonus
- Knowledge of other CAT tools such as MemoQ
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, a fast learner and passionate about providing great customer service.
Required Qualifications- Educated to degree level preferably in a Language (any) or Translation
- MA in Translation (preferred)
Training Programme
A full 2‑week induction begins your 3‑month supported training programme, where youll get a thorough grounding in all aspects of the business and benefit from the experience ofour talented team.
You will have an extensive toolkit and a line manager to help you achieve at the highest level.
Hours:
Flexible (20hrs / week, subject to change based on need for cover and needs of the business)
Location:
100% remote working
Salary: £13.00 / hour
Potential for performance‑based bonuses
