Turn spoken Cantonese into clean, accurate text that speech AI can learn from. You will transcribe new recordings and correct machine-made drafts so every word, speaker and pause is right.
What you will do- Transcribe Cantonese audio (and video where needed) word for word using the project style guide
- Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts
- Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips
- Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked
- Native or professional-level Cantonese, with good written English for instructions
- Sharp listening across accents and dialects
- High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy work
- Prior transcription, subtitling or language QA experience is a plus
- Remote, hourly contract (independent contractor)
- Part-time, flexible: 10–40 hrs/week
- Remote
Pay: $20 – $35 / hour (USD). Paid weekly in USD. Typical rate $20–$35 per hour, confirmed after a short paid assessment.
