Solicitor​/CILEX Lawyer - Property Insurance

Overview

Solicitor / Chartered Legal Executive - Property Insurance role at DAC Beachcroft. The team works within the Complex Property area of the Property service line, handling high-value insurer work across subrogated recovery, defendant property damage, and policy coverage advisory and disputes.

We are looking for 2 new colleagues, one permanent and one 12-month fixed term contract. Applications are welcomed nationwide, with remote work available for England and Wales.

• Work diligently and proactively, handling a varied workload in line with insurer client requirements
• Build strong, trusted relationships with insurer clients and colleagues
• Demonstrate good financial management and housekeeping on own files
• Support marketing and business development activities within the team (e.g. training/articles)
• Maintain awareness of the firm’s core strategies and aims

• A qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or barrister with at least six months' relevant experience of property insurance work
• Technically excellent with an aptitude for analysing difficult legal cases
• Able to deal confidently and professionally with clients within the team’s reporting and supervisory structure
• Commercially and financially astute
• Team-oriented, willing to share knowledge and support other team members and the wider firm
• Demonstrates alignment with the firm’s cultural principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive)
