Vera Safe is an innovative and successful U.S. headquartered privacy and cybersecurity compliance consulting firm and law firm. About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to join a team working on the cutting edge of privacy and data protection, and who wants to further develop a practice in an in‑demand, high‑tech area of law. We are inundated with business from clients who love the way we advise on privacy compliance, and we want you to help us meet that demand.

We have found that our strongest team members don’t necessarily have prior experience in privacy law. You’ll begin with a robust and established onboarding and training process and typically advance people more quickly than at a typical law firm, on an individual basis (no lockstep promotions or fixed compensation).

Note
: A 1–3 hour skills assessment is part of our recruitment process. While we know this is a burden, we consider it worth it and appreciate you taking the time to complete it. It helps us find the best attorneys, regardless of their experience, law school, or training. We want smart, kind, creative lawyers – this assessment is a crucial part of our hiring approach.

We use project managers to keep our remote team organized and projects streamlined and on‑track. We encourage our team members to travel and to work as digital nomads, whether that means spending a few months abroad or on extended trips to be near family. We collaborate closely (you won’t feel isolated) and encourage sharing of credit for work well done, resources, and advice (and penalize the reverse).

We are not biglaw. We do top‑notch work for interesting clients, yet we pride ourselves on our team members being happy, with time and energy for life outside of work, which we believe makes us better attorneys who don’t burn out.

The bottom line:
If you want to learn or go deeper practicing privacy law, practice in a problem‑solving environment focused on giving excellent and actionable advice, and want the flexibility to work in a way that makes sense to you, please apply!
