THE ROLE:

The firm is seeking an experienced Family Solicitor to join their team as a Legal Aid Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take on a leadership role, either as Head of Department or with a clear pathway to that position. The successful candidate will manage a diverse case load, with a primary focus on care proceedings, while also handling private law children matters and non-mol cases.

You will provide high quality legal advice and representation, supervise junior lawyers and caseworkers and ensure compliance with legal aid requirements.

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal candidate will be motivated to lead and develop a team, either taking on the role of Head of Department immediately or progressing into it. You should have substantial experience in care proceedings and a good understanding of private law children and non-mol cases. Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a varied case load are essential.

Flexibility and adaptability are valued, particularly with regard to court commitments and occasional remote working.
