About the Role:

We seek a Legal Associate with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience to handle diverse legal responsibilities.

Role & Responsibilities:
(a) Professional qualifications & experience:
LLB degree required
Indian Bar license required
3-5 years post-qualification experience
Minimum two years’ experience in a law firm
(b) Key skills:
Strong contract drafting and review skills
Excellent communication abilities
(c) Personal attributes & work environment:
Self-motivation and ability to work independently
Reliable internet connection and home office set

Key Responsibilities:

(a) Contract management:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
Create and update legal templates and documents
(b) Legal advisory & research:
Conduct legal research on various business issues
Provide employment law guidance to internal teams
Advice on general corporate law matters including but not limited to CSR activities
Prepare legal opinions on diverse issues
Collaborate with business teams on legal requirements
(c) Compliance & risk management:
Support regulatory compliance initiatives basic understanding Indian foreign exchange laws and Companies Act, 2013
Help resolve legal disputes and mitigate risks
Maintain accurate records of all legal activities
(d) Intellectual property:
Assist with intellectual property matters
(e) Logistical requirement:
Participate in monthly in-person meetings at Pune office
