Litigation Solicitor – 12-Month FTC (Potential for Permanent Role)

We are working in partnership with a well-regarded and established law firm based in Nantwich. Known for its strong regional presence and client-focused approach, the firm offers an excellent working culture, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Litigation Solicitor to join the firm’s busy Dispute Resolution team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of a permanent position at the end of the term.

The successful candidate will primarily handle civil property disputes, including matters such as :

• Boundary and ownership disputes
• Rights of way and easement issues
• Landlord and tenant disputes (residential and commercial)
• Trespass and nuisance claims
• Contractual and general civil litigation matters

• Managing a varied caseload of property-related disputes from instruction through to resolution
• Advising clients on litigation strategy and alternative dispute resolution options
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents
• Conducting negotiations and representing clients in mediation or court proceedings
  
  Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments and providing support where required

• Qualified Solicitor (ideally 2+ years PQE, though all levels considered)
• Strong experience in civil and property litigation
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload efficiently
• Team-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded
