Private Client Associate / Senior Associate (2+ PQE)

A highly regarded UK law firm is seeking a Private Client Associate or Senior Associate (2+ PQE) to join its established Private Client team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a market‑leading private client practice advising a broad range of UK‑based clients on complex succession and tax planning matters, within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

You will play an integral role within the Private Client team, advising clients on a wide range of matters including:

• UK succession and estate planning
• Domestic and international tax planning
• Drafting complex private client documentation
• Managing a varied caseload with appropriate autonomy
• Supervising and supporting junior team members where appropriate

You will also contribute to client development activity, knowledge‑sharing initiatives and the ongoing development of the practice.

This role would suit a lawyer who:

• Is qualified in England & Wales (or equivalent, e.g. CILEX) with 2+ years’ PQE
• Has strong experience in private client, succession and tax planning
• Possesses a high level of technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Is confident managing files independently while working collaboratively
• Has excellent client‑facing and communication skills
• Holds a STEP qualification (or is working towards one), which would be advantageous

• A 12‑month FTC within a respected and well‑established Private Client team
• High‑quality, technically interesting work
