Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a key player in the manufacturing supply chain based in East London , is looking for a proactive and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient flow of goods and materials. This role is responsible for overseeing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth operation of our supply chain, supporting our manufacturing efforts in the Eastern Cape .

• Coordinate and manage all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics, including shipping, receiving, and transportation.
• Optimize logistics operations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and maintain delivery schedules.
• Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure seamless movement of goods.
• Manage warehouse operations, including inventory control, stock rotation, and order fulfillment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logistics documentation, including shipping manifests and customs paperwork.
• Monitor logistics performance and implement improvements to enhance service levels.

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of logistics, warehousing, and transportation management principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with external partners and internal teams.
