Contracts Manager
Location:
Chichester (home-office + site visits)
Salary: £70,000 + Car Allowance
Are you ready to lead contracts for sophisticated residential and commercial builds in prestigious settings?
Do you thrive where precision, client-focus and high-end delivery matter?
About the company
We are working with an award winning, well-established and ambitious construction company specialising in upscale developments and bespoke properties. Work spans from luxurious homes in exclusive locations to contemporary commercial projects and heritage restoration. They pride themselves on delivering the highest standards in client experience, quality, time and budget.
Your role
As the Contracts Manager you will:
* Oversee and manage contract life cycles for multiple projects: drafting, negotiation, compliance, change-control and close-out.
* Collaborate with internal teams (estimators, project managers, site teams) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, subcontractors, supply chain) to ensure seamless contract execution.
* Monitor and mitigate risk associated with contract delivery, ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
* Maintain and track deadlines, budgets, deliverables and contractual obligations across projects.
* Use your strong contract management, analytical and communication skills to maintain client satisfaction, cost control and schedule adherence.
What we’re looking for
* A proven track-record of contract management in construction (residential and/or commercial) – you know the ins-and-outs of contract negotiation, contract administration, risk and change management.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills – you’re confident engaging with clients, consultants, subcontractors and your internal team.
* The ability to lead multiple simultaneous projects, prioritise effectively, spot issues early and drive solutions.
* Attention to detail and strong analytical thinking – you’re comfortable reviewing contract terms, sub-contract documentation, variations and claims.
* A proactive mindset – you don't wait for things to go wrong, you identify, flag and lead corrective action.
Why join?
* Competitive salary (£70,000 + car allowance) aligned with experience and performance.
* A growing, ambitious company where your contribution is visible and valued.
* Real opportunities to expand your responsibilities and progress your career.
* A supportive team culture with high standards and excellent client-facing reputation.
* Mix of site-based and head-office work, giving you variety and exposure.
Does this appeal to you?
Do you relish the challenge of managing high-value contracts in demanding environments?
Are you proud of your ability to deliver peak client satisfaction and on-time, on-budget projects?
Would you like to step into a role where your expertise matters and your growth is supported?
Can you bring your strategic mindset, keen contract-sense and hands-on approach to a business that values quality over quantity?
If you answered “Yes” to these questions, we’d love to hear from you
