Luton are working exclusively with Luton Borough Council to recruit a Team Manager for the Adoption Team manager role 37 hours per week.

Team Manager
-Adoption-Permanence based within the Specialist Family Support Service is a very exciting and important role as you will be driving, the permanency agenda for children across the borough.

You will be managing and directing resources and budgets to provide the ongoing service to support children and families and child in care.

What skills and experience we need from you

Good experience as a qualified Social Worker with working experience of managing a devolved budget, effective administrative and organisational procedures and to lead and chair multi-disciplinary meetings.
Experienced at negotiation and influencing service users, staff at all levels, elected members and other professional both internal and external.
You will develop, mange, support and motivate a team.

Must have qualifications.

Dip SW, CQSW, or recognised equivalent professional social work qualification.
Registered with the Social work regulator - Social Work England.
An enhanced DBS Certificate which is satisfactory to Luton Borough Council will be a condition of your appointment.
