Senior Property Manager - Block Management, GET STAFFED ONLINE RECRUITMENT LIMITED
Due to continuing growth, our client is looking to strengthen their team with a Senior Property Manager to care for a few medium‑large developments (circa 500–700 units) and manage a team of 35. The focus is on managing buildings rather than an overwhelming workload of thousands of units. We seek someone who enjoys property management and values a breathing space to provide an excellent service.
Requirements- At least five years of prior experience as a Block Property Manager, preferably with large estates, high‑rise buildings, and previous or ongoing cladding remediation projects.
- Good knowledge of financial administration (service charge accounting), effective numeracy and data entry skills.
- Experience with cladding replacement work/building safety fund applications.
- Experience managing staff and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines, grasp urgency of departmental activities, and handle driver responsibilities.
- TPI Level 3 (or equivalent).
- Full driver’s licence and ideally own car.
- Oversee the smooth running of the portfolio.
- Attend and prepare for regular meetings with residents/directors.
- Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance.
- Chair and minute meetings and take resultant actions.
- Budget and financial control using client’s system.
- Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders.
- Resolve queries received on the portfolio.
- Assist in acquiring new business (commission earned).
- Handle complaints (rare but necessary).
- Maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Demonstrate sound work ethics.
- Flexibility, assertiveness and dynamism.
- Deadline‑driven and independent working ability.
- Relationship building with stakeholders.
- Problem analysis and solving.
- Professionalism.
