- Lead and support a multidisciplinary team including Supervising Social Workers, Family Support Workers, and a Placement Officer, ensuring high standards of practice.
- Oversee the support, supervision, and development of foster carers, ensuring placements are stable, safe, and effective.
- Conduct Annual Reviews, assess performance, and maintain compliance with statutory frameworks and organisational policies.
- Facilitate and chair meetings, forums, and consultations with foster carers, promoting open communication and collaborative working.
- Implement innovative approaches to improve service delivery, with a focus on quality assurance and safeguarding.
- Provide strategic input and guidance to enhance outcomes for children and young people in foster care.
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience in a Local Authority setting, including management or senior practitioner roles.
- Strong understanding of fostering regulations, safeguarding frameworks, and Children’s Services legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance.
