- Managing a diverse portfolio of clients including owner-managed businesses, private equity-backed entities, and international groups.
- Leading and reviewing audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring efficiency and high-quality delivery.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for added value.
- Overseeing resource planning, team allocation, and time budgets across engagements.
- Coaching, mentoring, and appraising team members to support their continued growth and development.
- Supporting business development by identifying potential new clients and opportunities within your portfolio.
- Taking ownership of ad-hoc project work, including advisory and value-added services.
- ACA or ACCA qualification, with solid post-qualification experience in audit within practice.
- Strong working knowledge of FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and UK GAAP.
- Experience at Manager level, with proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills and commercial awareness.
- Organised, proactive, and resilient, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Case Ware, Sage, and related audit software.
- Hybrid working with flexible core hours, and two home-working days per week.
- Competitive salary of up to £60,000 DOE, and bonus scheme.
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
