Overview
WAVE Trauma Centre are recruiting for a Head of Survivor Support Services for our newly established centre, Nevara which is dedicated to supporting survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse (HIA) and those affected by Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses (MBMLW).
ResponsibilitiesAs the Head of Survivor Support Services at Nevara you will be responsible for the day-to‑to‑day management of the Centre and the activities delivered at this location. You will lead and support the delivery of services located at Nevara, including line management of the Project Managers for HIA and MBMLW. You will also be responsible for running the Centre and managing risk in relation to the work of the centre.
You will work horizontally with Centre Project Managers across the region and work cross‑functionally with other department leads.
This role requires experience in managing a multidisciplinary team and delivering support services to survivors of trauma. Strong risk‑management skills, knowledge of HIA and related abuse contexts, and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders are essential.

Hours of Work37.5hrs per week
Monday to Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am – 4.30pm
Evening / weekend work will be required. One day working from home
