Global Strategic Manager - Large Customers

This role is at the heart of Hilti's ambition to scale its global footprint with large customers. You will be responsible for driving the strategic deployment of a globally consistent and locally adaptable Market Reach approach, enabling high‑impact investments and orchestrating a community of strategic decision‑makers across the globe.
This role sits within our global strategic division, established in 2024, to drive business impact in this key area, and is one of our key growth drivers to deliver on our 2030 strategy ambitions.
This role is a remote position to be based in GB, although presence at the Manchester office will be required. The role will also involve widespread global travel, with approximately one international trip per month.
What You’ll Do Strategic Enablement & Investment Design- Define customer selection criteria and success metrics to guide regional prioritization.
- Architect the global roll‑out framework for Large Customer Market Reach, ensuring scalability and ROI‑driven investment logic.
- Develop steering tools and methodologies to track performance and impact.
- Conduct strategic studies and benchmarks to derive best practices and inform decision‑making.
- Prepare and co‑lead global presentations to key internal stakeholders—including Executive Board members, global management, and regional GMs—positioning the strategy as a lever for business transformation.
- Translate performance insights and investment logic into actionable recommendations to guide regions and markets on how to assess and improve Large customers performance.
- Build and animate a global network of large and complex customers counterparts to foster alignment and collaboration.
- Integrate external insights and strategic marketing intelligence into our approach.
- Degree qualification in Marketing and/or Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
- Strategy consulting background
- International business experience
- Project Management skills
- Customer‑centric mindset
- Analytical thinker with a creative, proactive approach
- Excellent communication skills
Language skills in German would be advantageous, but are not essential for this role.
This role requires significant global travel—approximately one working trip per month—and some time at the Manchester office.
