Role Summary

We are looking for an Indonesia Marketing Specialist who will serve as our go‑to expert for the Indonesian market
. You will shape our brand’s presence in Indonesia through culturally fluent content, localised campaigns, and community‑building initiatives. You will lead social media and broadcast‑channel growth, build relationships with Indonesian users and creators, and ensure that all marketing activities speak authentically to the Indonesian audience.

This is a remote position but requires you to be based in Jakarta with a strong understanding of Indonesian digital culture and user behaviour

Key Responsibilities

1. Local Market Ownership

  • Serve as the internal expert on Indonesian digital culture, audience behaviour, religious/cultural moments, and social trends.
  • Localise global and regional campaigns to fit Indonesian cultural nuances, sensitivities, and user expectations.
  • Provide ongoing insights, audience feedback, and recommendations to support product, content, and marketing teams.
  • Ensure all Indonesian-facing content and campaigns maintain cultural relevance and accuracy.

2. Content & Social Media Ownership

  • Own the Indonesian content calendar across Instagram and Facebook.
  • Create or brief high‑quality content (visuals, videos, captions) in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Publish, schedule, and optimise posts based on cultural seasons (Ramadan, Lebaran, payday cycles, national moments).
  • Identify emerging trends, creators, and storytelling formats relevant to Indonesian users.

3. Community Building & Broadcast Channels

  • Grow and manage Indonesian broadcast channels:
    Whats App Channel and Instagram Broadcast Channel.
  • Plan and execute broadcast‑specific content flows: prompts, mini‑stories, micro‑tasks, exclusive updates, surveys.
  • Build and nurture superfans, micro‑communities, and high‑intent users through consistent engagement loops.
  • Track and optimise broadcast performance (open rates, retention, click behaviour).

4. Creator & KOL Ecosystem Support

  • Shortlist Indonesian influencers and creators aligned with brand values.
  • Support briefing, coordination, content review, and performance tracking for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with creators and community leaders on challenges, launches, and in‑app activations.

5. Campaign Execution & Market Support

  • Help adapt global assets into culturally relevant Indonesian marketing materials.
  • Execute Indonesia‑focused campaigns across social, broadcast, in‑app and community touchpoints.
  • Work cross‑functionally with other departments to ensure cohesive local execution.
  • Contribute to ideation for Indonesia‑specific initiatives, activations or partnerships.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report Indonesian performance metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth, broadcast retention, creator performance.
  • Present monthly insights with actionable recommendations to optimise content and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate brand awareness, engagement, and community growth in Indonesia.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years experience in digital marketing, social media, community management, or related fields in Indonesia.
  • Deep understanding of Indonesian digital culture, online behaviours, trends, and sensitivities.
