The Content Strategist is a crucial, client‑facing role responsible for day‑to‑day client deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. The strategist works with a deep understanding of service lines, enterprise clients, and holistic marketing strategy.

• Strategic Excellence and Best Practices
  • Create custom strategies that achieve our NSMs.
  • Use project phases, client goals, current campaigns, and historical performance to optimize and revise strategies over time.
  • Apply LTV:
    
    CAC modeling, Customer Generation, SERP share, and content production best practices.
• Goal Setting
  • Set client goals using data from Google Analytics, CRM, SEMRush, Ahrefs, and more.
  • Get goals approved by the Associate Director before presenting to clients.
• Project Management
  • Use Asana to delegate tasks to team members, specialists, and clients.
  • Partner with Project Managers when present; ensure all tasks are created, assigned, and due dates are met.
  • Collaborate with content writers and designers to complete campaigns on time and at client‑sized quality.
• Internal and External Communication
  • Build strong client relationships and communicate timeline expectations via Slack or bi‑weekly meetings.
  • Proactively communicate roadblocks, growth opportunities, or strategic changes to internal leadership.
• Reporting
  • Provide bi‑weekly client meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi‑annual business review presentations.

• Proven SEO and content strategy experience: keyword research, on‑page optimization, link building.
• Analytical insight using Google Analytics and other SEO metrics.
• Strong communication skills and client‑facing relationships.
• Expertise with industry tools such as Google Search Console, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and crawling tools.
• Organizational, project, and time management skills.
• Enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
• Agency experience with B2B tech and/or SaaS background.

  • Regularly identify opportunities for client growth (service line expansion, budget increases).
  • Ask for referrals at key moments (e.g., new job start).
