E-Commerce Performance Marketing Specialist

Our client, a leading online retailer, is seeking a data-driven and analytical E-commerce Performance Marketing Specialist to join their team in Pretoria . This hybrid role focuses on developing, executing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels, including search engines (Google Ads), social media (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In), and other performance-driven platforms. You will be responsible for maximizing ROI, driving qualified traffic, and increasing conversion rates for our client's e-commerce operations.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing metrics, A/B testing methodologies, and audience segmentation. Working within a hybrid model, you'll collaborate with a talented marketing team, splitting your time between remote work and our Pretoria office to foster team synergy and strategic alignment.

• Plan, implement, and manage paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, social media platforms, and other relevant channels.
• Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and bid management to optimize campaign performance and budget allocation.
• Develop and execute A/B tests for ad creatives, landing pages, and targeting strategies to improve conversion rates.
• Monitor campaign performance daily, analyze key metrics (CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS), and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling ad copy and visuals.
• Identify new growth opportunities and emerging trends in performance marketing.
• Manage campaign budgets effectively to ensure optimal spend and achieve performance targets.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest platform updates, advertising best practices, and industry benchmarks.
• Work closely with the broader marketing team to align performance marketing efforts with overall business objectives.

• Proven experience (3+ years) in performance marketing, specifically within an e-commerce environment.
• Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping) and social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Linked In Campaign Manager).
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Demonstrated experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Excellent understanding of key performance marketing metrics and KPIs.
