Job Description & How to Apply Below
Office Administration | Website Content | Remote
Full-time or part-time · £27.00-£29.25 per hour
A website may show a product’s size, compatibility or included components in several places. When an approved specification changes, those pages need to reflect the same current facts. This role checks assigned product information against supplied source material and updates permitted content fields under the employer’s review process. You would not decide what a product can do, write technical claims from memory or publish a price change without approval.
Workfrom an authorised source
The product owner may provide an updated specification sheet and list of affected pages. Compare the item number and version before making an edit. A similar product may differ by one digit, so copying its details could mislead customers. If the source does not specify which variant changed, ask the owner rather than apply the new measurement to every related page.
Save the source reference in the content record where the team’s procedure requires it.
You may update a table, descriptive field or downloadable file link in the online content system. After saving, view the public page to check that units, numbers and formatting appear correctly. A draft can look right in the editor while the live page still shows an older value; make the publication status visible. If an approved change requires another person’s sign-off, leave it ready for that review rather than calling it published.
Anexample of care
Imagine that a source sheet changes a product’s dimensions but a comparison page still lists the older size. You could update the assigned product page and flag the comparison page for the owner if it is outside your editing scope. If a customer email asks whether the old size is still available, refer the stock or availability question to customer service.
The content record should state what was changed and what remains to be checked. Do not invent an answer about inventory from a specification sheet.
Your work can include checking multiple language or regional versions only when the employer supplies approved content for them. Do not translate technical details yourself without authorisation. A missing diagram or unreadable download should be reported with the page address and item reference. A useful note lets the content team find the exact issue rather than hunt through the entire website.
Routineduties

- Note a broken product file or mismatched diagram.
- Keep the source and change history in the assigned online tracker.
This is remote office administration and website support from a home office. The employer will train you in its products, content tool and review rules. Previous website work is useful but not required. Attention to detail, comfort comparing documents and a willingness to ask about a conflicting source are more important. The hiring company will confirm whether the opening is part-time or full-time, with the hourly pay range above.
Some product pages include a question-and-answer section or a table used by customer service staff. If an approved change affects those areas, identify them in the content tracker even when you are not the person assigned to edit them. A page can be factually right in its main description and still give an outdated answer further down. You may also be asked to check a mobile view where a long…
