Volunteer Online as a Conversation Partner

ENGin pairs English‑fluent volunteers with Ukrainian learners for weekly online conversation practice. Participants are matched 1‑on‑1 based on preferences, interests, and availability to ensure an effective and mutually enjoyable communication experience.

Since launching in 2020, ENGin has connected over 26,000 Ukrainians with over 24,000 volunteers. 99% of our learners report breaking the language barrier after 3 months of participation.

• Pair up with a learner in Ukraine for weekly 1‑hour video chats at times convenient for you.
• Practice English, share and learn about each other’s cultures, and provide an empathetic, authentic space for connection.

• Fluency in English.
• Strong internet connection.
• Commit to one hour a week for a minimum of 10–12 weeks.

We provide training resources, session materials, and flexible scheduling. Our team is available to support you throughout your time with us.
