Description About the Team

The Individual Giving team sits within the Fundraising and Engagement unit and is responsible for developing and delivering strategies that inspire ongoing community support through one‑off and regular donations. Focused on building meaningful long‑term relationships with supporters the team drives donor acquisition, retention and growth through personalised communications, direct marketing campaigns and exceptional donor care.

About the Role

Working alongside the Individual Giving Manager this role helps grow Cancer Council SA’s community of supporters by delivering engaging donor experiences and effective fundraising campaigns. You’ll help deliver Direct Mail and Regular Giving programs from creating inspiring communications to coordinating timelines, suppliers and campaign delivery.

You’ll build meaningful donor journeys that welcome new supporters, strengthen existing relationships and keep our community connected to the impact of their giving. Working closely with teams across the organisation and external partners you’ll ensure every campaign runs smoothly, data is accurate and supporters feel valued.

This is a hands‑on role where you’ll contribute to major appeals, assist with donor care and play a key part in initiatives like our annual Giving Day all while developing your fundraising skills and helping make a real difference for South Australians affected by cancer.

Skills and Experiences About You
  • Demonstrated proficiency in administrative tasks and customer service practices
  • Maintains strong organisational skills effectively managing time, priorities and resources to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in the Microsoft suite of products including Excel and MS Teams
  • Ability to read, interpret, segment and manipulate data
  • Experience in Fundraising and / or direct marketing (desirable)

The is a fixed‑term full‑time 12‑month contract role.
