Philanthropy Manager - Wales & South West

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31/12/2027

Hours: Part Time, 21 hours per week

Closing Date: 23:59 on 18/01/2026

Salary: £29,290.00 to £36,612.00 (pro‑rata £17,574.00 to £21,967.20), dependent on your skills, knowledge and experience

Location: Cardiff – with regular travel to the South West. This hybrid role spends 40–60 % of the week in the Cardiff office.

Overview

Join The King’s Trust during our 50th Anniversary year and play a vital role in changing young lives. As Philanthropy Manager for Wales and the South West, you’ll build powerful relationships with philanthropists and partners who want to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities
  • You’ll lead philanthropy fundraising across the region, maximising our place‑based strategy in Wales and Bristol, focusing on £25k+ gifts.
  • Develop inspiring proposals that bring our work to life.
  • Work closely with local and national teams, turning ambition into action and helping thousands of young people gain the skills and confidence to find work.
