Quality Engineering, Materials Engineer
Responsibilities
- Carry out site and lab-based testing and investigations on pavement materials.
- Accurately record and report test results using internal systems.
- Maintain and prepare equipment and samples to ensure quality and compliance.
- Support the upkeep of UKAS accreditation and health & safety standards.
- Work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality technical services.
- Minimum of 1-year in a material’s testing role
- Knowledge and understanding of pavement materials (Concrete, Asphalt, Hydraulically Bound and Unbound Materials)
- Experience in the use of UK standards for pavement materials and their testing
- Ability to work within a team
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instruction concisely both written and verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full Time - 40 - Monday to Friday
