Material Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out site and lab-based testing and investigations on pavement materials.
• Accurately record and report test results using internal systems.
• Maintain and prepare equipment and samples to ensure quality and compliance.
• Support the upkeep of UKAS accreditation and health & safety standards.
• Work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality technical services.

• Minimum of 1-year in a material’s testing role
• Knowledge and understanding of pavement materials (Concrete, Asphalt, Hydraulically Bound and Unbound Materials)
• Experience in the use of UK standards for pavement materials and their testing
• Ability to work within a team
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear instruction concisely both written and verbal
• Ability to work on own initiative

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 40 - Monday to Friday
