Join our Quality team in Brighton as an EMCTest Engineer, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet compliance standards. You'll carry out EMC and environmental testing for Paxton and external customer products in our ISO
17025 accredited test facility. This is a hands‑on role in a collaborative environment, perfect for someone passionate about electronics and compliance testing.
- Perform EMC and environmental testing on products to defined standards.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly internal calibration tasks.
- Organise and maintain compliance documentation for products.
- Act as the first point of contact for compliance queries, managing the inbox and supporting internal and external teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within the test facility.
- Hands‑on experience in electronics testing or a strong background in electronics is essential.
- Previous exposure to EMC testing in a laboratory or compliance environment would be advantageous.
- Relevant qualification in electronics or a related discipline.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
