A leading research organisation is seeking an experienced Research Scientist (In Vivo) to support complex in vivo studies within a regulated research environment.

You will play a key role in the execution of in vivo studies, performing a broad range of procedures while supporting data quality, regulatory compliance, and the development of junior team members. Working closely with scientific and technical teams, you will contribute to study delivery from in-life phases through to reporting.

• Perform a wide range of in vivo techniques, from routine dosing and clinical observations to surgical procedures including anaesthesia, analgesia, suturing, and PDX models
• Develop and apply more advanced techniques, including complex tissue collection
• Monitor animal health and welfare, identifying early signs of ill health and implementing appropriate interventions
• Work in full compliance with UK Home Office legislation, including ASPA, establishment licences, and project licences
• Support a strong culture of care and contribute to 3
  
  Rs initiatives where appropriate
• Generate high-quality scientific data and contribute to study reports for Study Directors
• Support training, mentoring, and quality control activities for junior team members
