Senior Research & Development Chemical Engineer

The successful candidate will possess a strong academic background coupled with practical experience in R&D.

• Lead and conduct research projects aimed at developing new chemical products and processes.
• Design and execute laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to validate process concepts.
• Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
• Develop process models and simulations to predict performance and optimize parameters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, and external partners, to ensure project success.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance R&D efforts.
• Ensure all research activities adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and intellectual property guidelines.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the overall knowledge base of the R&D department.
• Prepare and present findings to internal stakeholders and at scientific conferences.
• Contribute to the patent filing process for novel inventions.

• Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in chemical research and development, preferably in industrial settings.
• Demonstrated expertise in process development, scale-up, and optimization.
• Proficiency with laboratory techniques, analytical instrumentation, and pilot plant operations.
• Strong experience with process simulation and modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL).
• Excellent data analysis, statistical modeling, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage research projects from conception to completion.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suitable for remote collaboration.
