About the RoleIn support of our continued growth, we are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our UK&I team and focus on proactive outbound lead generation and pipeline development. This role offers an opportunity for a motivated individual with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow their career within a fast‑paced, innovative and rapidly growing cybersecurity business. It is a key role supporting revenue growth through outbound lead generation, sales pipeline development and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities- Proactively source and qualify new business leads through targeted outbound outreach.
- Use a mix of outreach techniques including cold calling, email sequencing and other methods to connect with key decision‑makers and generate interest.
- Book high‑quality meetings by understanding prospect challenges, needs and timelines.
- Work collaboratively with marketing and sales to refine campaigns and outreach strategy.
- Keep CRM activity accurate and up to date to maintain momentum in the sales funnel.
- Nurture early‑stage conversations and help move prospects closer to becoming customers.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor developments to sharpen outreach.
- Attend relevant events to represent Nomios and create meaningful business connections.
- Share prospect feedback and learnings to support continuous improvement in lead generation.
- Strong emotional intelligence.

- Sound commercial awareness.
- Flexibility in approach depending on the audience or situation.
- Experience in a similar role within the cybersecurity or technology sector.
- Familiarity with industry terminology.
- A good understanding of the challenges and key decision‑makers in the security and networking space.
- Location:
Basingstoke office, with flexibility for occasional home working by agreement. - Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, with flexibility required when attending events and customer visits. - Travel:
Occasional travel to customer sites and events; a full UK driving licence required.
